Disclaimer for Voter List in Excel

Setuk.org is a private data service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Election Commission of India or any Chief Electoral Officer. Our files are converted from publicly available electoral rolls and contain no phone numbers, photos or data from other sources. Conversion is about 99% accurate and may contain errors, so the official roll published by the Election Commission prevails in every case. The data is for electoral, political and research use only and must not be used for commercial marketing or resold.

1. Not a government website

Setuk.org is operated by Setuk Private Limited, a private company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Election Commission of India (ECI), any Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) or any State Election Commission. For official electoral services, visit voters.eci.gov.in or your state CEO's website.

2. Source of the data

Every file is converted from electoral rolls that the ECI and state CEOs publish for public viewing and download. We do not add, merge or infer any information. Our files contain no phone numbers, photographs, Aadhaar numbers, email addresses or caste or religion tags.

3. Accuracy

The files are produced by optical character recognition (OCR) and transliteration, followed by manual checks. Accuracy is about 99%, not 100%. Names, ages, house numbers and transliterated spellings may contain errors. If anything in our file differs from the official roll, the official roll prevails.

4. Not proof of registration

Our files cannot be used to confirm whether a person is a registered voter, which booth they vote at or whether they are eligible to vote. Only the official roll and the ECI voter search can confirm this. We cannot add, correct or delete any voter's entry. For that, use Form 6, 7 or 8 on the ECI voter services portal.

5. Roll date

Each file states the roll type and publication date it was converted from. Rolls are updated continuously, so a file may not reflect additions, deletions or corrections made after that date.

6. Permitted use

The data is supplied for electoral, political and research purposes only: campaign planning, booth management, voter outreach, surveys and academic work. It must not be used for commercial marketing, lead generation, unsolicited calls or messages, harassment, discrimination or any unlawful purpose, and must not be resold or published.

7. Buyer's responsibility

Electoral rolls contain personal data. Buyers are responsible for using, storing and sharing the files in line with the Representation of the People Act, ECI guidelines, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and any other applicable law. We may refuse or cancel orders that appear to be for a prohibited use.

8. Statistics on this website

Booth counts, constituency details and other figures on these pages are taken from ECI and CEO publications and are given for general information. Check the official source before relying on them.

9. Limitation of liability

The files are provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Setuk Private Limited is not liable for any loss or decision arising from errors, omissions or use of the data.
