Any Jammu & Kashmir voter data from before 2022 is mapped to seats that no longer exist.
The 2022 delimitation redrew J&K from scratch. Assembly seats went from 83 to 90 — 47 in the Kashmir division, 43 in Jammu. Boundaries moved. Nine seats were reserved for Scheduled Tribes for the first time. The Lok Sabha map changed too, with a brand-new Anantnag-Rajouri seat stretching across the Pir Panjal. The 2024 Assembly election, the first in a decade, was fought on that new map.
The Jammu & Kashmir voter list in Excel follows it: one workbook per constituency, one sheet per booth, every voter on one row, with names as printed plus English and Hindi where needed.
What the delimitation broke for anyone holding older data:
Patching an old file to the new map is a slow, error-prone job. Start from the current roll.
Names here have more English variants than almost anywhere. Mohammad, Mohammed, Mohd., Muhammad, Md. — all one name, and all likely to appear in the same constituency. Kashmiri and Dogri names add their own variations, and Urdu-script entries often leave out short vowels.
We keep each name as printed and pick one consistent English spelling per name across your file, so a single search finds everyone. A Hindi column helps teams in the Jammu division who read Devanagari faster.
