Himachal votes in late 2027. In the hills, a year is barely enough.
Snow closes passes for months. Some booths sit at the end of a day's drive and a long walk. A campaign that plans its ground in summer 2027 will find half its high-altitude booths unreachable until it's too late. The teams that do well start mapping a year or more out.
The Himachal Pradesh voter list in Excel is where that mapping starts: one workbook per constituency, one sheet per booth, every voter on one row, in Hindi and English.
Himachal's 68 constituencies are small — but the terrain makes every booth expensive to reach. Lahaul-Spiti, Kinnaur, Chamba's upper valleys, the Dodra-Kwar belt: booths where you get one good window to visit.
That flips the logic of a voter list. You're not hunting through crowds. You're making sure one trip covers every household on the list — which means sorting by section and house number before the jeep leaves, not after.
Himachal is home to some of the highest polling stations in the world — Tashigang in Lahaul-Spiti sits above 15,000 feet. You don't send a team there with a list someone "will update later".
What a sheet gives you that a PDF doesn't:
Himachal Pradesh wasn't included in the first three phases of the Special Intensive Revision. So the current base is the latest final roll published by the CEO, Himachal Pradesh, plus the supplementary lists issued since. That's what goes into our files, and the roll date is printed on every sheet.
If an SIR is announced for Himachal before 2027, the roll will change again — and we'll convert the new one.
