Andhra Pradesh just deleted one voter in ten.
That's not a typo. The Special Intensive Revision of 2026 took AP's roll from 4,16,27,694 names down to 3,72,02,684 in the draft published on 31 July — the biggest clean-up the state has seen in more than two decades. Then it added 3,933 new polling booths on top.
If your campaign is still working off 2024 data, you're planning on a roll that no longer exists. Below: what changed, why it breaks old booth plans, and how to get the Andhra Pradesh voter list in Excel — one workbook per constituency, one sheet per booth, every name in Telugu, English and Hindi.
Booth Level Officers went door to door through June and July 2026. Anyone they couldn't verify didn't make the draft.
| Voters | |
|---|---|
| Roll before SIR | 4,16,27,694 |
| Draft roll (31 July 2026) | 3,72,02,684 |
| Left out | 44,89,512 (10.78%) |
| → Deceased | 15,22,174 |
| → Permanently shifted | 14,43,888 |
| → Untraceable | 7,77,905 |
| → Duplicates | 7,37,218 |
One more number jumps out. The draft has 1,89,30,929 women and 1,82,69,019 men — about 1,036 women for every 1,000 men. Few large states can say that. If your outreach plan assumes a male-majority electorate, it's wrong here.
Claims and objections closed on 30 August, and the final roll was scheduled for 3 October 2026. That final roll is what goes into our files.
The deletions grab the headlines. The booth changes do the quiet damage.
SIR capped every polling station at 1,200 voters, which pushed AP from 46,397 booths to 50,330. Every split sets off a chain reaction:
Here's a ten-second test. Count the booths for any constituency in your old file, then count them in the new roll. Different numbers? Then every booth-level report you built needs rebuilding — no shortcut.
We've watched off-the-shelf PDF-to-Excel tools choke on AP rolls, and it's always the same three problems.
The family name comes first. Telugu puts the *intiperu* up front — Kondapalli (family) Srinivasa Rao (given name). The same man signs as "K. Srinivasa Rao" in English. We keep the printed order, so sorting by name lines up whole households.
One name, half a dozen spellings. Venkata or Venkat. Lakshmi or Laxmi. Naidu or Nayudu. Let a machine guess and it picks differently every time — and your search quietly stops working. A person on our team reviews every transliteration so one spelling holds across the file.
The script itself fights back. Telugu's rounded letters and stacked consonants (ఒత్తులు) smear on a scanned page. Miss one cluster and a name becomes someone else's. Every booth gets checked against the official men and women totals before it leaves us.
| Part No. | Sr. No. | EPIC No. | Name (Telugu) | Name (English) | Name (Hindi) | Relation | House No. | Age | Gender |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1 | ABC1234567 | కొండపల్లి శ్రీనివాస రావు | Kondapalli Srinivasa Rao | कोंडापल्ली श्रीनिवास राव | Father | 1-23 | 42 | M |

| Assembly constituencies | 175 (139 General, 29 SC, 7 ST) |
| Lok Sabha constituencies | 25 — seven assembly segments each |
| Polling booths after SIR | 50,330 |
| Roll language | Telugu |
| Last Assembly election | May 2024, with the Lok Sabha |
| Next Assembly election | Due 2029 |
AP had 4,13,33,702 voters on the roll at the 2024 election, with turnout above 80%. The SIR draft dropped below even the 2019 figure of 3.94 crore. Put simply: AP's real turnout was higher than the official percentage suggested, because the old denominator was padded with names that weren't really there.
Every constituency page lists all its polling stations and its price.
AP's panchayats, mandal and zilla parishads and municipalities were elected in 2021 — so 2026 is when their terms run out. Those polls use ward-wise rolls from the State Election Commission, Andhra Pradesh, not the assembly roll. We convert them on request, one ward per sheet.

The Chief Electoral Officer, Andhra Pradesh publishes the roll only as PDFs, one for each of 50,330 booths. Setuk.org provides the SIR 2026 roll in Excel, one workbook per assembly constituency and one sheet per booth, with names in Telugu, English and Hindi. The SIR 2026 draft roll published on 31 July 2026 had 3,72,02,684 voters: 1,89,30,929 women, 1,82,69,019 men and 2,736 third-gender voters. Before SIR the roll had 4,16,27,694 names. The final roll was scheduled for 3 October 2026.
About 44.9 lakh (10.78%) were left out of the draft roll: roughly 15.2 lakh deceased, 14.4 lakh permanently shifted, 7.8 lakh untraceable and 7.4 lakh duplicate entries.
50,330, up from 46,397. Every polling station is now capped at 1,200 voters, so many booths were split and renumbered.
Not reliably. With 3,933 new booths, part numbers shifted and voters moved between polling stations. Booth plans built on 2024 data need rebuilding on the SIR 2026 roll.
Yes. The roll is printed in Telugu. Every name stays in Telugu as printed, and English and Hindi transliterations are added and checked by people, in the printed family-name-first order.
Yes. The SIR 2026 draft roll has about 1,036 women for every 1,000 men. The summary sheet in every constituency file shows the split booth by booth.
Yes, on request. Those rolls come from the State Election Commission, Andhra Pradesh, and are organised by ward. AP's local bodies elected in 2021 complete their terms in 2026.
